Election 2004 Opinion.  By Christopher Brooks

The Murray Electorate deserves a political servant that is able to transparently
represent the electors of Murray without the corrupting influence of party political
power and self serving ambition.

The Liberal/National/Labour/Greens corporate juggernaut  are beholden to the policy of
monopoly which continues its steady concentration of power in every sphere of our lives under the
cover of environmental reform, rationalisation, competition policy and "free trade".

Here in Australia the injustice and perversion is seriously damaging to our freedom potential but
the results of these policies are catastrophic when viewed with a broader perspective.
The Iraq, Sudan and Afghanistan tragedies are all part of the policy of monopoly crushing
dissenters of internationalisation veiled behind an endless array of propaganda campaigns
that manufacture "devils" and "witches" to justify murderous strategies and profit growth.

The world is abundant with material potential and opportunity but the party power agenda insists
the world be painted in terms of economic shortage and cost price squeeze artificial money magic
that reveals blindness and ignorance that is almost comical in some respects.

The  tweedle-dum and twiddle-dee two party scam  is fundamentally a strategy to distract the
public with endless bickering about the colour of the wrapping and the wording in the gift note as
the dividends of creation are substantially delivered to the unelected rulers that employ control
over the money system which is now a functioning effective World Government.

The finance establishment has control over the party charade along with the media and all other
elements of information flow.  Claims that party organisations formulate policy from the grass roots
of society in a "democratic" process can hardly be taken seriously.

Political parties and their willing assistants are the instruments employed by the real unelected
government.  Their chief role is to assist in the conquest and exploitation of the gullible and
apathetic populous that instinctively know party politics is a grubby dishonest business but
continue to vote for it to continue.

Propaganda is a powerful instrument when you can control the press to ensure that only ignorant
or dishonest views are ever heard and any opinion that threatens the establishment is branded
"extreme" or even put behind bars under trumped up charges.

The pontificating party assistants fall silent in the face of these totalitarian acts and are happy to
tolerate endless broken promises and lies in the cause of the "political process" clearly happy with
a culture of dishonesty and war crimes.

There are few party enthusiasts  who would pass a basic quiz on money and the "credit creation"
process, nor understand the implications of this key issue,  yet this does not constrain their
ignorant support for a "debt" money policy they do not comprehend or motivate some effort  to
correct their blindness.

The vast majority of the population have become high tech serfs slaving to achieve material
possessions but neglecting the deeper spiritual and creative dimensions of our personalities.
Real knowledge, wisdom, responsibility  and truth have become a low priority leaving the longer
term implications of the direction of our Nations surrender to corporatism in the too hard basket.

The challenge for any electorate to control their MP demands that electors engage themselves
frequently in the decisions that are made on our behalf, election day is possibly the least
important action in the whole process.   The vote is a sanction that must be used every day of the
year to instruct and pressure our representatives to listen and consider our views and ideas.

Party beholden representatives are principally in the business of keeping the electorate under
control as the corporate theft proceeds with pace.  This  is achieved  cleverly with appropriate
rewards in the form of kudos, fame and fortune to all who will enthusiastically sell their soul for
thirty pieces of silver.

Place major parties last in your preference.  Sitting member dead last!

Diane Teasdale, Independent candidate,  has demonstrated the deepest and most accurate
knowledge and would be my first preference.   Diane has identified the hypocrisy of the  U.S. "free
trade" agenda and its danger to our sovereignty.  She gave an excellent outline of the very
disturbing issues behind the "sickness industry" of drug focused treatment when commenting on
our so called health system at the Shepparton "meet the candidates forum".

Rob Bryant, also standing as an Independent,  has stretched the political debate beyond the
party charade and forced a
short term capitulation on the "fire blight" issue and the shrills still
claim Independent voices can achieve nothing.  We have had a demonstration of exactly what an
Independent political voice can achieve.  Rob has yet to demonstrate convincingly a deeper
comprehension of the "corporate agenda" or a policy strategy to confront the concentration of
power and wealth weaved into the present party policy direction. If an unrehearsed political result
did occur in Murray on October 9 and Bryant pulls of a surprise there would certainly be
opportunities for Murray electors to play a substantial role in halting the tide if Rob keeps true to
his promise of integrity and honesty.  This task would be in the hands of Murray Electors.

The fact of the matter is that our future depends not just on the ballot box result, but more so on
how we behave politically on every other day of the election cycle striving to ensure that the
results we desire are the results that are achieved within the bounds of reasonable possibilities.

Never the less we cannot escape the essential need of a representative that is fully accountable
to the electorate without ambitions and party dictates that corrupt the will of Murray Electors.
